Rapper Nipsey Hustle Shot And Killed While Producing Dr. Sebi Documentary About AIDS Cure

Nipsey Hustle was much more than just a musician, but also a philanthropist and activist who wanted to truly improve his community. In order to help formulate a plan to reduce the violence in the streets Nipsey was scheduled to meet with Los Angeles police officials, and politicians, but he was killed outside of his Los Angeles clothing store.

The police reported that Nispey and two others were shot just after 3 in the afternoon, near the intersection of Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard. While two other victims in the shooting survived, unfortunately, Nipsey did not.

Mark Ridley-Thomas, a member of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, recognizing Nipsey’s contributions to the community made a statement focusing on peace and bright futures to the scourge of gang violence.

Nipsey Hussle was a famous hip-hop artist, was a businessman, entertainer, father, and inspiration to many young and old people.

His loss was commented by his friends Steve Soboroff (@SteveSoboroff) and Roc Nation (@RocNation) on Instagram, expressing their sadness and love.

Nipsey spoke many times about the struggles that people faced in his community, emphasizing the statistics of the murder rates, and incarceration rates in the years he was a teenager in L.A. He stated that none of his peers survived, avoided prison and everybody got bullet wounds and felonies and strikes. According to him the victory in itself is if somebody makes it out mentally stable and avoids prison or drugs.

There were no suspects in the case, but The Source reported that an individual who goes by the name “Gaston” went on Instagram Live claiming to be the shooter and said that he still had the gun in the seat. However, the police have not questioned him yet.

Nispey was a generous philanthropist, helping inner city schools and encouraging people in low-income areas to start their own businesses. He was a part of the effort called “buy back the block,” in which affluent rappers make a promise to return to their communities. They also buy a property to reclaim control of the hood and empower the community with locally owned businesses and positive organizations.

According to Forbes last month Nipsey purchased a strip mall in his home town of Crenshaw, spending a few million dollars. He had big plans for his property, but he had a very concerning comment on his Tweet that “Having strong enemies is a blessing,” which was his last post.

This comment hasn’t had a clear meaning for others, but Nipsey did have some very powerful enemies. His last engagement was on an explosive documentary about Dr. Sebi, whose real name was Alfredo Darrington Bowman. Dr. Sebi believed that all diseases could be cured with herbs and a specific vegan diet and this documentary was of great importance for him.

His fellow rapper Nick Cannon made a series of posts to his Instagram page about Dr. Sebi and has expressed his readiness to continue Nipsey’s work on the Dr. Sebi documentary.

He said that everyone should recognize what Nipsey had done for the community before his dead and that his fellows are gonna continue with that. He states that this battle is, actually a MARATHON, so he’s picking up the baton!

He strongly believes that they can’t kill them all and that the words of the fellows, their steps, and walk will always be SOLID!

He is ready to support the teamwork, to accept the common messages, and not to be silenced.
